Our
December theme was Craftsman. During
our Den meetings we built Pinewood Derby Car Stands, Gingerbread Houses and
received tool box kits from Home Depot.
Lets see how those tool boxes turned out. Be sure to show us your other Craftsman projects so you can earn
your Craftsman Badge. (The
requirements are on page 252 of the Webelos Scout Book.)
January’s
theme is Fitness. We will be working on
our Fitness Activity Badge (page 65).
What does fitness mean? It means
being healthy and in good physical shape.
Most of the requirements for this activity will need to be done with
your family, but we will cover a couple of the requirements this month at den
meetings. On the 24th we
will show a video on Child Abuse at the Den meeting. Please see the attached letter for more information concerning
this video.
January
17th is our annual Father/Son Cake Auction. Please see the attached letter on the rules
for the cake auction. This event is a
lot of fun and a great way to earn money for our pack to pay for our scout’s
badges, Blue/Gold Banquet and other items.
The cake theme this year is “WHEN I GROW UP”. Lets see what kind of fun cakes we can make for this theme.

please let me know if there is anything you would like added to the site.

Snowbowl – Remember the scout ski program starts January 18th. See you on the slopes at 6pm. It is each scouts responsibility to arrange
for rides to and from Snowbowl. If
anyone is interested in car-pooling please contact me or the other parents in
the den.

Parents, if you have any ideas about outings or community service
projects that our den can be participate in please let us know!!!
Over the next few meetings we will be building an Outdoor Survival Kit. We will be purchasing what we can out of our Den dues, but will also be requesting that the scouts bring certain items to the Den Meeting. We will keep the kits at our house until they are completed.
